The data provided by the Fashion in Process department (FIP) of Politecnico di Milano, highlights some of the most controversial issues that are emerging, with a keen focus on carbon dioxide levels, greenhouse emissions, how the manufacture processes are influencing greenhouse gases and biodiversity loss, the impact of polyester and the necessity for recycling (which is still underdeveloped in the clothing industries).
